What is it?
It is the second most frequently occurring amino acid in muscle tissue. It is produced by the metabolism of cysteine and methionine. Those are stimulants that support the functioning of the nervous system and thus improve physical and mental performance. It promotes mass muscle growth, faster recovery of the body after physical exercise, cardiac activity, better blood viscosity.
Taurine is referred to as a non-essential amino acid that emerges from the synthesis of two amino acids (cysteine and methionine) and vitamin B6.
What will it help me with?
Taurine is, therefore, a substance that can be produced in the body, but not in the required amount. Taurine can be added from food, but it is only contained in small quantities.
Taurine sucks in glucose and amino acids into muscle cells, therefore accelerating recovery after training. Overall, it improves concentration and delays the symptoms of fatigue during exercise.
Resources
Taurine can be found commonly in the diet: meat, cheese, milk, eggs, etc. It is important to us, especially when we are trying to build muscle to add taurine as a supplement. This amino acid is increasingly poorly absorbed from the diet as the age progresses and its concentration may decrease.
